We can't think of a better tea to start your oolong love affair with than our premium loose leaf Tieguanyin tea. The tightly rolled dry leaves stimulate your taste buds with the rich fragrance of gently roasted nuts. Steeping the Tieguanyin leaves produces a glorious amber-colored beverage that can be enjoyed both hot and cold.

Tieguanyin is a style of oolong tea that's considered one of China's ten most famous teas. This artisan tea style is world renowned and named after the Iron Goddess of Mercy. According to legend, the goddess appeared in the dream of a Fujian Province farmer and guided the fortunate guy to a cave behind her temple, where he found a single shoot of tea that he planted and cultivated.

Our Tieguanyin tastes slightly nutty, slightly sweet and absolutely full of natural flavor. We like to savor Tieguanyin in small tasting cups during tea breaks, but we're confident you'll enjoy Tieguanyin's thirst-quenching flavor by the mug-full, any time of day and with meals.

Our whole leaf Tieguanyin is a premium tea that can be resteeped 3 to 4 times, making it a great taste at a great value. You can make approximately 10 - 15 cups from 30g of tea and 17 - 25 cups from 50g of tea, more if you steep the leaves multiple times.
