As legend reveals, some highly prized wild tea bushes on the Wuyi mountainside were so inaccessible that monkeys were trained to gather the leaves. Traditional tea merchants continue to refer to their finest tea as monkey-picked.
Our Monkey-picked Tie Guan Yin has been processed according to traditional techniques for oolong. The leaf is oxidized until 30% is red and 70% remains green. Richly fragrant, full-bodied, nutty and slightly sweet. Our best tea is an extraordinarily exquisite experience for your senses.
Approximately 10 servings from 30g and 17 from 50g. |
